Small gameplay mod for Q2. Makes weapon switching much faster and allows you to cancel out of the chaingun/hyperblaster cooldown animations.
To install copy, q2turbo folder to where your Quake 2 executable is.
Run Quake with "+set game q2turbo" or enter "set game q2turbo" in-game.
Includes 32 and 64 bit binaries for Windows and a 64 bit binary
for Linux (not tested).
Confirmed working with Yamagi, original Quake2 and Quake2 RTX.
Based on Yamagi 8.20 source.
