Easily one of the best mods for any DoW game. The amount of new content and quality is outstanding and really shows how much the dev team work on this. A 40k/10.
June 29, 2023: This is actually me being more generous than what I would have wanted to rate it as but I'm not going to be that petty. Normally I'd be hesitant to saying a word around these parts but this is the appropriate place for me to confront you guys head on about something I noticed.
I'm not gonna get into the technical aspects because that by itself is another thing. But one thing I will say is that much of this mod, despite how fun the modes are and the gameplay etc., but pause; are we just gonna pretend like the credits aren't missing something? I'm shocked at how none of the credits have the names of the authors, contributors and creators of the content that is in here. It's just the people who created the game itself.
Because obviously a huge amount that is in the mod does not belong to you guys. I recognize details from other games but nothing edited in the credits? Why is that? The most I've seen were in the game modes such as Survival/Last Stand crediting the coders but is that all? The team is esteemed to be this 'pinnacle' for Dawn of War modding as well as its ethics and integrity, yet they seem to not live to the standards that they set for other aspiring modders. This really rubs me off the wrong way because this is one of the most obvious and crucial parts of a mod, whether it's overlooked or not.
It is a shame really because lots of what is in the "GOAT" mod for Dawn of War is not authentically yours, models, characters, buildings, etc., which is fine but for God sakes, at least other mods have the decency to include authors and give shoutouts and special thank you's to the creative people behind it. And yet unification mod fanatics have the nerve to talk massive amounts of **** towards other mods, like it's a **** measuring contest. Are you kidding me, how in the hell are you gonna do that? The philosophy of modding is mainly ethical and this is not as ethical of a mod as I had hoped. I wish in the next release this will be addressed but if not, it says a lot about the developers behind it, for all it will be at that point is just a massive cluster of other people's work packaged up. You guys are supposed to be an example for the community of fans and aspiring modders but I see that manners are lacking. I for one have taken plenty of notes before coming to this conclusion. I've been watching. Roll your eyes, write me off, hate me, ignore me, i don't really care. But, you won't silence the truth.
And fans who may not have that keen eye out will just blindly follow and play a mod disregarding the significance of the credits because it's popular or super hyped, all the while not realizing they are like lambs following the herd being led astray. That stinks guys, because it shows no humility, just unfairness. I'd have expected more out of a team I looked up to and held to a high esteem for oh so long, but I guess putting expectations on even those seen as heroes and saints can lead to shock and disappointment. So much for your advice because that did not age well, not one bit. But here's my advice: greatness is not about being defended by the fans. Greatness is about being accepted by the fans. And no fan with a head on their shoulders would accept this mod as it is to be 100% genuine. I'm not speaking on behalf of myself, rather on the behalf of all the other modders and creators that ya'll have been mooching off of without acknowleging who made your mod possible. You guys quoted "Truth be told, we wouldn't be here without your support and enthusiasm". Well what about the FoK mod team? Dawn of War II modders like uncle_anathesia? What about Dawn of War II/Dawn of War III assets from the artists who made them? You guys didn't make those.
P.S. whoever reads, it's nothing personal but a review is a critique of a mod in detail, nothing more, nothing less. All of us reserve the right to express our criticisms and this is one in which is not below being brought to light once more. Even so-called 'greats' show they're human from time to time. As for the team, next time practice what you preach, grow tf up, and get these massive chips off your shoulders. Condescension is such a low point even for you all. This game though we all love it is over 20 years old and y'all act like it's worth it to harbor bitterness against each other, yet you guys can't even take your own damn advice. You don't own Dawn of War, Relic Entertainment and Sega does and that is why it may forever be in you guy's wet dreams and never in reality to get the source code from them. I wouldn't be surprised if it's because they are aware of your lack of respect for other creators long before this mod grew or should I say, became fanaticized. It should be about humility and creativity rather than clout and competing. Hypocrisy is a bad look and it just had to be you guys to fail at crediting. Thus, I no longer have respect for you guys due to your lack of honor. Get your act together, Uni team. Anyway, I have spoken. 5/10.

I got threatened by a Marshmallow.
The mod is pretty good. Alot of the races have variety and strategies. You have titan units as your end game and they can be countered well. The balance is mostly fine and on point. Your early game units are still useful even when titans are around.
There are new races to play around. All of them have a special mechanic and theme related to the race in question.
Give some of your time to play the mod. You will enjoy it.
If the main mod has become boring or looking to spice things. There are two addons. Unlimitted addon and Campaign. These two will increase your joy on the mod.
So no reason to not try this gem.
