Face off against both the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. As Tyber Zann, you'll stop at nothing as you seek to become the most notorious criminal leader since Jabba the Hutt. With all new tactics like piracy, kidnapping, racketeering and bribery, you can control the shadowy forces of corruption in your attempt to rule the Star Wars underworld.
The Rebels have just destroyed the death star, and the galaxy is in turmoil. In other words, it's just the time that you, and your Zann Consortium, have been waiting for. Quench your thirst for power as you build and lead your own forces of scum and villainy. Spread corruption throughout the galaxy using new strategic gameplay elements to influence other factions, steal their funds, slow their production, spy on them, and more.
Exciting new land-tactical options like advanced base layout and guerrilla warfare allow for innovative battlefield tactics. Take command of and confront new fighting units for all factions (Rebel B-wings, Imperial TIE Interceptors, Super Star Destroyers and more). Take down anyone who stands in your way of ruling the underworld, be the new battlefield heroes like Luke Skywalker and Yoda, or even your worst bitter rival - Jabba the Hutt.
The ultimate prize awaits: an immense Super Star Destroyer known as The Eclipse. Spanning the length of nearly all of the Star Destroyers seen in the original Empire At War, the deadliest capital ship in the galaxy comes equipped with a superlaser rivaling that of the death star. With it under your control, no one will remember the name Jabba the Hutt - Tyber Zann will be the most feared crime lord the underworld has ever seen...
[MAJOR]
-The Republic, Empire and Imperial Warlords gain access to the Victory-II Frigate! The Battlefront 2 (2005) sweetheart makes its debut as a highly effective antifighter vessel with a unique AA missile on its bow.
-The rogue clone, Spar, joins the CIS in Shatterpoint. The Separatist backed claimant for Mandalore is recruitable after capturing the Mandalorian homeworld.
-The grizzled mercenary Cad Bane is now available for hire, recruitable by the CIS in Shatterpoint and by the Criminal Underworld during the GCW era. He’s able to be hired anywhere.
-The Nonplayable Minor Factions (CSA, Hapans, Hutts, Mandalorian, Sith and Imperial Warlords) have had their build times nerfed for both units and buildings. This slows them down but doesn’t cripple them in the long run. Some factions, like the Hutts, will still be a potent force in the outer rim, even in the early game.
-Conversely, the AI of the Galactic Civil War combatants (Empire and Rebels) gained considerable strength in the Imperial Web Way campaigns. This is achieved by AI aggression settings and a buff building, the “Efficient Procurement Center”, which grants discounts to Frigates/Capitals and allows the construction of a single class of a Tech 2 Capital ship so they’re not defenseless. It can NOT be rebuilt and can be (theoretically) rushed to knock an AI out of the war.
Locations for the Empire--> Coruscant, Kuat, Fondor
Locations for the Rebellion--> Yavin, Bespin, Mon Calamari
Now, it’s dangerous to stay on Tech 1 for too long since the AI gets bonuses during it. Tech up and everyone will be on a more level playing field.
-The Republic CR-90 gains unique livery
-The Geonosian cruiser gains access to unique Separatist livery
-New SFX for Concussion Missiles and Heavy Concussion Missiles
-New Separatist Engine SFX
-New SFX for the C-9979 for its weapons and engines
-The Rebel/Republic XB-17 gains access to a small, but unique, voiceover pool
-Added new icons for the Servator and Victory II Frigate
-Rebel AI can now make build the MC-50 and MC-80WL at Tech 1 on worlds with Procurement Centers
-Empire AI can now build the Procursator at Tech 1 on worlds with Procurement Centers
-Upped the Rogue-class Starfighter cap to 20 squadrons (13 --> 20)
-Evened out the Belbullab squadron cap (16 --> 15)
-Reaper Squadron now uses Temuera Morrison VO
-The Republic version of the Lancer in Skirmish is now tied to the "Strength in Tradition" ideology. Eventually, this will be moved to a distinct “Imperial Amnesty” branch.
-Reduced costs for Fighter Squadron heroes by 500 credits and 5 seconds of build time
-Fixed the Point Defense ability not displaying correctly on the Geonosian cruiser
-Fixed improper references for Republic dreadnaught and Fortresses in Shatterpoint campaign
-Damage particles on the default Venator were throwing errors, so I removed the turret fires for now. They should still exist for the Shatterpoint Hero Venator and the Servator
-Fixed a few small references errors in unused files (caused the Dev Debug to go nuts)
-Fixed the Nebulon B frigate text (thanks to the very persistent reporting of this particular issue @Nsx)

Thanks for the discussion and insight whenever I come harass you about some plan I have.
Sgt Barlex/Lord Poncho- he falls neatly into the mysterious kindly hermit trope that always gifts me with insane assets and is always a chill guy to interact with. Thanks for the Victory-II and the Geonosian cruiser!
Kalani- who has been a man on a mission lately in terms of pumping out assets. Thanks for Cad Bane’s unique skin!
MWY and Burninalways - Thanks for (attempting to) help me with the LUA solution on Cad Bane. Ultimately, I couldn’t figure out a solution, but I still learn a lot every time I talk to them.
Shout to Luke Lasermaster for discussion on sound effects and insights on his bafflingly complex work on Remake 5.0’s SFX ecosystem.

Hello all,
So recently I've started playing this game again after a while. I play on Windows 10 x64, I have the CD version of the game. Whenever I try to launch the game, it does nothing for at least 30 minutes. The game would launch about at least a half hour after I launched it. The exception error has happened as well. Especially when I try to play the 'Republic at War' mod. I set the compatibility settings to Windows XP (Service Pack 3), I still run into the same issue yet again. This game has worked before. What are some other possible solutions?
Thanks!
on sales is like 5 dollars on steam
Roll back to Windows 7
