Ok....... a delay

Actually we are going to make own sprites and it varies in the design.

The sprites we saw didn't convince us as a whole so we restarted the work.

I know it's a bit shitty, but we want to deliver something of quality and distinctive to the other shotguns.

Hello, listen, how do you create new sprites for your double-barreled shotgun? Can you explain briefly? Do you draw in Photoshop from scratch, or do you first make the base somewhere, and only then finish it in Photoshop? I am in progress of learning, also my partner is teaching me how to make pixel art (MG0061).
Although I admit that I am learning quite fast.

I don't use Photoshop, but Gimp so I don't know if things also apply in Photoshop.

I create a sketch, a base.

In the case of Recoil its base is just the base sprite stretched to be bigger.

Here it doesn't matter much if you put them on a sheet and put them in your editing program or you make them in the program itself, with the most comfortable method for you.

You create your nice base and that, now you should put the main colors (without shadows or lights) to give you an idea of how it will be.

I can say that the lines where to give the shine, are different layers The biggest would be almost the same color of base but if you had this same one
And so on but each time lighter and smaller.
Now with the magic wand I select the base color.

Why?

This is so that when you do the blending it doesn't go out of the base.
This will prevent the gun from looking like it's glowing.

(I think I had to say this before but when you do the layers select the base with the wand so that when you do the lines, you don't go out of the base).

After you finish apply the blurring with the different layers that give the feeling of lines.

Try not to blur too much so that it looks good.
Then you will have a metal type texture.

As for the PickUp, create your own base using the Quad_Sg as a reference.
And the commander ssg

Remember to always make a sketch before starting to see if it convinces you or not.

Here I am going to have a hard time explaining myself to tell you the truth.

But besides that my partner helps me a lot in this part.

I can say the same with the base colors, and the rest with the metal.

Although I can tell you how I did the wood effect.

I kind of blurred the stock and then erased in random lines.

Then I used the "Wind" effect that gimp has, although any effect would be fine too.

Then you do another blur effect on the back, a little darker in my case, lower the opacity of the layer that you put the effect and there it would be.

I have the feeling that I explained it like ***.

I'm currently trying to make my own versions with the code I created for the original weapons (my own assets).

We contacted ModDB staff to get a mod taken down, the creator was banned with it because they wouldn't stop reuploading the mod.

That mod must've been Doom Brutality Ultimate. The retarded creator (he is named DOOM-BRX) told me if I didn't delete my hateful comment, he would remove my comment (the same happened to the others who posted hateful comments). If his mod was taken down, he would do the same ******* thing (reuploading) over and over again.
